Lunar Adventures: exploring a little bit of everything

Today’s site update

You might see things breaking here and there, and looking funky here and there, as I work on tying up some loose ends around the virtual-house. You’ll now see that the archives are functioning properly. No one really seemed to notice that they previously weren’t showing all of the months, and were also only showing 10 entries per category, but I did. So I fixed it. I now use SmartArchives, authored by Justin Blanton to keep things straighter.

Among other little odds and ends (like the top menu not quite behaving correctly, depending on where in the site you happen to be) that will be fixed soon, I’ll also be adding some Google AdSense ads here and there. I haven’t decided where they’re going to go, yet, but they’re coming. If this offends you, I am sorry. But I hope to make an extra $2.14 cents a month from it, which will almost pay for a single Power Bar from the vending machine at the gym.

I’m also weighing the merits of some new features and stuff. As always, I’ll keep you up to date of any changes, no matter how boring you’re probably going to find them.

$2.14+ for a singular item from a vending machine? Christ. I don’t care how good it is.

That’s almost movie theater concession stand-class extortion.

I was going to say the same thing. Phew. And Power Bars don’t even taste that good.

Even when I don’t understand it; I don’t find it boring. I told you I think nerds are sexy. :-P

$2.25 for a Power Bar. Some larger off-brand Power Bar-type bars are $3.00.

Gatorades are $1.25. There are some energy drinks that are also $3.00.

Power Bars and all those other energy bars taste like wood chips. I hate them. But what can you do?

If nerds are sexy, I can get nerdier! Wanna talk about development cycles?

    (I would love it. Rawr!)

    A DRINK FOR $3???

God, and I thought the Netherlands was expensive.

Yeah but it’s a power drink.

    Anyway…

The development cycle begins when a body of water begins to evaporate, and collects in the sky to form water. After a certain amount of collection, this water falls back to the ground in the form of rain. The rain runs off and collects into bodies of water. Then the water evaporates and we start back over!

Or is that the water cycle?

That is the water cycle. Go figure.
