Lunar Adventures: exploring a little bit of everything

More sneakiness on TV
As I noted earlier, TNT is always being sneaky and getting me to watch more episodes of Law and Order than I had planned.
NBC is getting into the sneaky act, reviving an old tactic — right as I’m about to switch channels because the show ended, they flash up a “stay tuned for scenes from the next episode of Law and Order!”
And, of course, like a sucker, I sit through another 90 seconds of commercials to catch those glimpses of the next episode. NBC must love people like me.

I did the same thing but it was worth it! Tonight’s episode is going to be great!
perhaps you’ve addressed this in the past, but I was watching The Oreilley factor last night on fox news and saw an advertisement for the Boston Legal premier which airs on ABC.
Since when do networks cross promote on other networks?
Stephan: I’m pumped about it… SVU has the most crazed plots ever. I love it. Crossing over into L&O regular is a good move, too, since McCoy is more fun to watch than the lawyer on SVU. I’m glad L&O is on after Lost — I’d be torn otherwise.
Eric: That’s a good point… I see it a lot in some cases, like, USA will advertise for NBC, but they’re owned by the same people (I think). In those big networks all owned by the same people, there’s a lot of cross pollination. But Fox advertising for ABC? Weird.
