One word: Military. If you’ve been to basic, you’d know that there are about 30 secs available to shower from start to finish. My wife wishes the option was available for women. One less bottle, one less step. NO time. Less is more.

Take a marketing class. There are several ways to market. The commercial does not need to offer simply logic. There are a million companies that have commercials just like this. Here is another thing. Why not? Why not have one less bottle? Who cares. It doesnt hurt you to use the combo. You are an idiot.

I just saw it again. Old Spice. I guess they’re trying to ditch their image of “aftershave for old people.” But being pointless isn’t the way to do it…

I just saw this commercial, it was definitely Old Spice… All I kept think was, “What in the world?!”. I saw the one where the guy is in the shower and the wife asks who of her friends he would go out with. Pointless.

I saw that commerical. I think it was for Axe, but it could have been Old Spice, since they both seem to be doing a lot of convergence design now. I wish I could remember what it was, but like you, I was more confused by the commercial itself. It did nothing to sell the product and only made me sure that the people who designed the commercial think that men are really lazy bastards.
